i heart the very hungry caterpillar. pretty much the perfect book for children.

i heart grid systems for design. the 960 grid is a nice way to start using it for web design, but it’s been used to great effect in print for a while.
i heart the iphone (soon android) app instagram . they’ve taken sharing photos to a new level and even with just the few filters available you can capture some moments in an artsy and professional looking way.
i especially heart how the filters are applied *after* the photo is taken. this way you can try different ones out before deciding.
i heart pj harvey. “rid of me” is one of the best songs of all time, filled with an attitude that cannot be stopped. now that she’s gotten older (and wiser?) polly jean is still creating music that moves you. let england shake is no exception.
i heart this superbowl commercial by chrysler. they manage to take dead city, a has been rapper and a car that i don’t really want to buy and turn it into a commercial that makes me care.
it’s over the top, it’s pompous, but it gets to me.
well done.
i heart hunter boots. with the snowstorms of this winter turning into puddles you can walk in a straight line instead of around.
oh, and they look damn good.
i heart internet cats. 65.4% of all internet traffic is cat related.
i heart the trip. i heart steven coogan and rob brydon. this is quite possibly the best tv series ever.
gentlemen to bed!
i heart groundhog day! a furry rodent peeks out of a hole in the ground and lets us know if spring is coming soon or not. (it is). i also heart the movie groundhog day with bill murray, because let’s face it, bill murray is a genius.
for those of you wondering, it took bill 8 years, 8 months and 16 days to create the perfect day.
